The mission of the AACCCP shall be to encourage, empower, and promote economic development and growth to the African American, small, minority and women owned business community through entrepreneurship, business development, training and business partnerships throughout the Central Pennsylvania region. |
The
Entrepreneurial
Development Center for Minority and Woman Owned Businesses
located at 1735 State Street, Harrisburg, PA opened November
15, 2005 with a ribbon cutting ceremony lead by Mayor
Stephen R. Reed and joined by Councilwomen Linda Thompson
and Gloria Martin-Roberts. Many community leaders and
organizations were present to witness such a pivotal
moment for the African American Chamber of Commerce of
Central Pennsylvania and the community at large. The
Center will begin a new era for small, disadvantaged,
minority and women owned business in Pennsylvania to
develop and enhance their business through workshops
and seminars. |
